This little pendant was found in Gorodišče in Ukraine, it is interpretated as a "Valkyrie", a female warrior who serves under Odin in Valhal.
The Valkyries was also those who chose the human warriors who would die at the battleground, and after the battle they afterwards accompanied the warriors to Valhal where they would take good care of them until the final battle in Ragnarok.

This little Valkyrie has a long plait and is the only one of its kind from the Russian area.

The pendnt is shown in silver, but can also be made in bronze or gold, it´s about 28mm high, weighs about 4 gram and has a 2,2mm hole through a loop on the backside, which fits a leatherlace perfectly.
